Preparing For The Thanksgiving Day Festivities

This is the week!  I have both my sister and my maternal grandmother flying in for Thanksgiving.  My grandmother will be here tomorrow and my sister will be here on Thursday.  I believe my aunt and her kids as well as my uncle will be joining us.  My brother is coming in from Lawrence.  My best friend of over 15 years will also be stopping by with her daughter.  My mother's fiance's family is also joining in on the fun and food.  Man...it's going to be a full house this week!

My mother put me in charge of the entertainment for the weekend.  So I am a lover of board and card games...pretty much anything that gets the family together in one room.  Together we all own a pretty good stash of games...Taboo, Pictionary, Wheel of Fortune, Scrabble, Monopoly, Dominoes, UNO, etc.  I went out and bought a new one called Scene It.  I got it at Tarjay (Target) since Wallyworld (Walmart) didn't have the I wanted.  For some reason the Twilight and Simpson editions of Scene It were all the rage!  Nah that's OK...I'm good with the original version.  I thought about getting an 80's version but decided against it.  The ages are diverse and that would most likely be an unfair advantage for some.  We'll just stick to movies.  With all of the games that we have, we should have a blast for the entire weekend.

I was asked to make some Deviled Eggs.  I have no idea why but I was asked to.  Sure...I can take care of that.  Lol.  I wanted to make some kind of coffee desert since the majority of my family drinks coffee - except for my sister...I think something is wrong with her.  Lol.  j/k  I'll see how I'm feeling on the day of.

I have my office Thanksgiving lunch tomorrow morning/afternoon.  That should be a good time.  This will be my first one as a Realtor and at this office.  I work with a great bunch of folks at my office.  I am going to miss them all dearly when I do move.  That's what the internet is for though, right?  I'll get them all on my Facebook, Twitter, and Linkedin.  Lol.

Alright that's about all for now.  I wanted to get to bed early tonight...I have a really full day tomorrow.  Sales meeting, Thanksgiving lunch, getting hair done, hanging out with a good friend of mine, as well as a few errands in between.  I love and live for it!
