Pretty Full Day Today

Hung out with the fam most of the day. My brother and his woman came back from their weekend trip to Chicago and had loads to share. Had breakfast, talked a bit, and chilled before they headed out.

Went to church and got the word. The church I went to was beautiful. It's been a while since I've been to a church that gave me a good feeling. The first time here was back in Nov of 2007. I believe it's Our Lady of Perpetual Help on Broadway. OMG it is BEAUTIFUL!!! Reminds me of the older churches back in the day...not these modernized churches now. The church I went to today was Queen of the Holy Rosary in Prairie Village. Nice church. Got a great feeling from that church.

Talked to an old friend today. It was good to hear from him. He surprised me...said he was converting to Catholicism. He says he's been doing great with it. If that is the case I am very happy for him. Before he was talking about the Universe and not GOD and that kind of concerned me. I wasn't going to knock it...to each his own when it comes to their faith. It just concerned me a bit. He's good to go now. I wish him the best of luck with his Confirmation/Profession of Faith next year.

That got me thinking of my faith and where I'm going with it. I'm pretty comfortable with it...I still have a lot to learn. My path as a Catholic Witch is going to be a very interesting one. I'm ready!

So I just spent a little time - I have no idea why - updating my Amazon.com profile. Got another pic on there and I even updated my pen name. I think it's cute...Shutter Gypsy. It has my love for photography plus my urge to always move around. I like the name. I may use it here as well. Matter of fact...I'm going to change this profile to reflect that name. I love it!
